Fabulous old primitive refurbished slab top hardwood butchers pig bench/coffee table. This is a beautiful table which originates from central Europe, where it would have been used by a family for many years to prepare food etc for the family. The table has a wonderful chunky slab top which has a worn patina showing many years of use. The wood is gnarly and scored with many marks showing its years of use. It has suffered from wood worm over the years but this has all been treated as a precaution .
The whole piece is strong and sturdy, making it an ideal coffee table, lamp or side table.
This is a very handsome table with a lovely thick and chunky slab top, which is cut from a single plank of wood. Sturdy and functional and a great addition to the home or garden

The item is in used vintage condition with previous signs of woodworm which has been treated as a precaution and there are some repairs, age related marks and wear and tear. Please be sure to check all photos as these form part of the description.
