The table is in original condition with a wonderful chunky solid wooden top which has a worn patina showing many years of use. The wood is gnarly and scored with many marks showing its years of use. It has suffered from wood worm over the years but this has all been treated as a precaution .The whole piece is strong and sturdy, making it an ideal kitchen island, console or side table but also of course as a chopping block in a kitchen This is a very handsome table with a lovely thick and chunky top.
