Stunning old primitive butchers table. This is a beautiful table which originates from central Europe, where it would have been used by a family for many years to prepare food etc. The table is in original condition with a wonderful chunky wooden top which has a worn patina showing many years of use. The wood is gnarly and scored with many marks showing its years of use. It has suffered from wood worm over the years but this has all been treated as a precaution .
Ideal console table, hallway table but also of course as a chopping block in a kitchen
This is a very handsome table with a lovely thick and chunky top, a great addition to the home or garden
The item is in used vintage condition with signs of previous wood worm which has been treated as a precaution and there are some age related marks and wear and tear. Please be sure to check all photos as these form part of the description. The table can be disassembled, the legs are a removable/interference fit this does allow some movement which could easily be eliminated with some screws, nails or glue.
