Fabulous old primitive refurbished triple plank slab top hardwood butchers pig bench/console table. This is a beautiful table which originates from central Europe, where it would have been used by a family for many years to prepare food etc for the family. The table is in original condition with a wonderful chunky slab top which has a worn patina showing many years of use. The wood is gnarly and scored with many marks showing its years of use. It has suffered from wood worm over the years but this has all been treated as a precaution .
The whole piece is strong and sturdy, making it an ideal console table, lamp or side table but also of course as a chopping block in a kitchen
This is a very handsome table with a lovely thick and chunky slab top, which is cut from 3 planks of wood. Sturdy and functional and a great addition to the home or garden
The item is in used condition with some historic repairs, one of the legs has been repaired at some point and there are some age related marks and wear and tear. Please be sure to check all photos as these form part of the description.
